90TH BIRTHDAY OF HOLY FACE CONVENT, VORKADY

The Holy Face Convent, Vorkady turned 90 in the month of November. In celebration of this the Sisters of the Community held a thanksgiving mass on 10th December 2017. Sr Susheela Sequeira and Sr Milly Fernandes attended the Eucharistic Celebration along with the Provincial and Councillors of Mangalore Province and joined the Sisters to thank God for the marvels done by the Lord through our pioneers in Vorkady and the apostolic effectiveness that has been seen in the area because of the Sisters’ hard work and faith.

FORMEES DAY CELEBRATION

Formees’ day was celebrated on 15 of January 2017 at Maria Niketan Bogadi. The parents of the student Candidates and Novices were present for the programme. Rev Fr. George Olivera Ofm Cap., gave an input session on the theme ‘Joyful Witnesses’. Rev Fr Stany D Almeida the director of ODP presided over the Eucharistic Celebration.
