23 and 24 November 2016 are the red letter day to the Sisters of Holy Family Convent, Bengaluru as they celebrated the Golden Jubilee of Holy Family Convent and Gnanabodhini Higher Primary School, Bengaluru.
v On 23 of November Golden Jubilee of Holy Family Convent was celebrated. Most Rev Dr Bernard Moras Archbishop of Bengaluru officiated the Eucharistic Celebration along with the concelebrants. Rev Fr Stany D Souza S J Provincial of Karnataka Province, Rev Fr Dolphy Pais Ofm Cap Provincial Minister of Holy Trinity Province, Rev Sr. SusheelaSequeira the Superior General and Provincial Superiors and Councilors were present for the celebration. The Sisters of Holy Family Community Sisters acknowledged the great services rendered by the pioneers and the Superiors were honoured and felicitated. Golden Jubilee Celebration of Gnanabodhini Higher Primary School held on 24 November 2016. Rev Sr Lilly Pinto the Education Secretary of UFES presided over the day’s programme. The chief guest was N Santhosh Hegde, the former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and the former Lokayukta of Karnataka. There was a very big crowd of around 3000 spectators. The day’s significance was honoring the retired Headmistresses, teachers and the benefactors of the school. The celebration was further made momentous and rich by the magnificent cultural program performed by the school children to the admiration of all.
