In celebration of the Universal Church’s Jubilee 2025, the Mangalore Province organized the Jubilee of Formators and Formees on 12 October 2025 at Somarpann Novitiate with the theme “Rooted in Christ, Blossoming in Hope.”
The day began with an inspiring session led by Fr Santhosh Rodrigues, Director Pastoral Centre, Bajjodi, Mangalore, the resource person, who reflected on the theme and encouraged everyone to nurture their formation journey with faith and hope. The celebration continued with a solemn Eucharistic celebration, offering thanks for the gift of consecrated life and formation. Provincial Superior Sr Clara Menezes addressed the gathering, expressing her gratitude to the formators for their commitment and dedication. Around 75 formees and five formators, Provincial Councillors, and elderly sisters of Somarpann community, participated in the celebration. The formees of different stages presented creative and meaningful programs that added color and joy to the event. The day concluded with a sumptuous meal shared in an atmosphere of gratitude, joy, and fraternity.
