VII PROVINCE CHAPTER 6TH TO 9TH JANUARY 2016 AT ‘TABOR UFC PROVINCIALATE The VII Province Chapter of North East Province was held from 6 to 9 January 2016 at Tabor- UFC Provincialate, Dimapur. 39 delegates of the VII Province Chapter of the Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of North East Province reflected and prayed over the theme “Ursuline Franciscan Sisters, Taking a Stand, Making a Difference with the Mind and Heart of Christ” and arrived at the following Vision – Mission Statement that would give a right orientation to the life and mission of the Province:
Vision Statement: We the Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of North East Province envision to have and to give life in abundance with the mind and heart of Christ by taking a stand and making a difference in our life and mission.
Mission Statement: Empowered by the Divine Spirit of Christ we take a stand to restore human dignity, rights, justice and peace with mercy and compassion in our relationship with God, Self, Others and Cosmos.
During the Elections held at the Chapter on 8th January 2016 Rev. Sr Mary C.J. was elected as Provincial Superior and Sr Benny Fernandes, Sr Florence Lalrinpuii, Sr Mary Dukru, Sr Elsie Castelino are elected as Provincial Councillors.
