Spiritual Animation and Guidance
The retreat was thoughtfully animated by Fr. Sabu Chenakal and Sr. Rini, who served as spiritual companions to the Sisters. Through insightful input sessions, intentional periods of silent prayer, and personal reflection, the participants were encouraged to revisit the "first love" of their vocation.
The sessions focused on turning quiet reflection into real-world work. The talk "From Contemplation to Action" explained how to move from thinking to doing, while "The Rule of St. Angela Merici” by Sr. Sunitha Miranda showed how her historical wisdom guides leadership with kindness today. Additionally, "Bridging the Generation Gap” by Fr Manoj OFM Cap, coffered ways for younger and older members to understand each other better. To complement this spiritual growth, Sr. Reshma Vinolia provided a practical orientation on account maintenance, ensuring the Sisters grow in the responsible management of community resources.
Fellowship and Recreation
Beyond the sessions, the Sisters enjoyed creative recreation and community outing. A highlight of the gathering was a refreshing day-long outing to Stone Park in Dimapur. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the Sisters shared laughter and stories, breaking away from the routine to rejuvenate their spirits.
A Holistic Experience
This blend of rigorous spiritual exercise, intellectual formation, and fraternal celebration ensured that the Juniorate Programme was a truly holistic experience. As the Sisters departed from the Provincialate, they carried a renewed sense of purpose. Strengthened by the lessons of their heritage and the shared joy of their community, to translate their contemplation into vibrant, compassionate action.
