
Five novices made their Temporary Profession at Somarpann Novitiate, Derlakatte, in a solemn and grace-filled ceremony held on April 9, 2026.The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr Henry D’Souza, OFM Cap., Novice Master of Fidelis Friary, Farangipet, along with other oncelebrants. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the lives of the young Sisters who committed themselves to religious life.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the lives of the young Sisters who committed themselves to religious life.
Srs Winnifred Goveas and Sushma from Mangalore Province, Srs Victoria Gracy and Deepanjali from Mysore Province, and Sr Mary from Hubli Province professed their vows in the presence of their parents, fellow Sisters, and well- wishers.
Sr Clara Menezes, Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province, received the vows of the newly professed sisters, while Sr Annie M.A., Provincial Superior of Mysore Province, invested them with chains as a visible sign of their commitment.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, a felicitation program was held in the chapel, where the newly professed Sisters and their parents were honored. Addressing the gathering, Sr Gretta Sanjivini, Provincial Superior of Hubli
Province, congratulated the sisters and their families, acknowledging their generous and loving sacrifice.
The event concluded with a fellowship meal. Sisters from Mangalore, Mysore, and Hubli Provinces, along with the members of the Generalate, Central Delegation, neighboring communities, and tertians were present for the occasion.
