One such blessing is the new Convent building of Angela Vidyaniketan, Kudige. It was blessed by Don Francesco on 27 January 2016 on the feast of St Angela Merici the Patron of the congregation and the Community.
The Nursery building of St Mary’s School HD Kote was Inaugurated on 4 June 2016 by Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro the Provincial Superior and was Blessed by Rev Fr Anthonappa J the Parish Priest of St Mary’s Church H D Kote. The Sisters of the Sanjeevini and St Mary’s Community, Staff and Students were present for the event. The Nursery block consists of four class rooms and an open stage. The class rooms are artistically painted as an attraction to the tiny tots for learning.
The New School building of Nirmala Kan Hr Pry School Balehonnur was inaugurated on 13 June 2016 by Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro the Provincial Superior. It was blessed by Rev Fr Lancy Pinto the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Victory Church Balehonnur. Students are very happy to have a new School building with spacious classrooms. On that event computer lab also has been inaugurated.
Maria Niketan School has a new Kitchen. Sr Mary Celine the Headmistress worked relentlessly to get the grant from the Central Govt. This new kitchen was inaugurated by Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro the Provincial Superior on 12 July 2016 and was blessed by Rev Fr Rocky D’ Souza Ofm Cap the Rector of Kripalaya.
St Joseph Degree College Building added feather to St Joseph’s educational Institute Hunsur. A long awaited dream was fulfilled when the newly built St Joseph College Building was blessed on 1 September 2016 by Rev Fr J Rayappa the Parish Priest of St Francis Xavier Church Hunsur. In spite of all inconveniences, 4 classrooms are ready for the Degree Students. Students and Staff of the College were very happy to have spacious classroom. Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro Provincial Superior, the Sisters of the Community, Staff and the Students were present for the event. Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro Provincial Superior addressed the students and asked them to work hard in order to be Successful in life and also bring laurels to the Institute.
The foundation stone for boarding and Training Centre of Divya Kripa Molakalmuru was laid on September 6, 2016. Rt Rev Bishop Francis Serrao the Bishop of Shivamogga, officiated the foundation stone laying ceremony. Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro Provincial Superior laid the foundation Stone. Divya Kripa Convent has no separate building for the boarding. Since the number is big and there is no enough place for the boarders construction of the separate building for the boarding is inevitable.
St Mary’s Health Centre is growing day by day. The number of the patients has increased. The present operation theatre and labour room was not enough. Therefore spacious operation theatre and Labour room has been constructed constructed. The newly constructed OT block was inaugurated on September 8, 2016 by Rev Sr Apoline Cordeiro Provincial Superior. It was blessed by Rev Frs Anthonappa J Parish Priest and SD Joseph well-wisher. The sisters of the Zone, Staff and Students of the Hospital were present.
