With great joy and thanksgiving the Generalate - Somarpann celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the Religious Profession of Rev. Sr Doreen DSouza our former Superior General and Rev. Sr Anita Pereira of North East Province presently the member of Subodhini Community, Panir.
After the Mass a shor felicitation programme was held at the auditorium where Rev Sr Susheela Sequeira the Superior General read the words of Felicitation to Sr Doreen and Sr Milly Fernandes to Sr Anita Pereira. They were felicitated with flowers and shawls. Rev Sr Rita Vas the Provincial of Mangalore Province and her councillors, the Sisters of neighbouring Communities, and Holy Rosary Convent, Jeppu, the children from De Mercede orphanage, Panir along with the Generalate Community joined to thank God for the preciousness of the gift of Sr Doreen D’Souza and Sr Anita Pereira to the Church, to the Congregation and to all of us.
