A weeks Seminar from 24thSeptember to 2nd October 2017 for the teachers under the management of UFES on Basic counselling skills was organised by Rev Sr Lilly Pinto the Secretary of UFES at Somarpann- Generalate. 28 teachers from the different schools attended the seminar.
Rev Sr Lydia Serrao gave the inaugural message on the first day and Rev Sr Susheela Sequeira gave the concluding message. Sr Carmelita Monteiro was the resource person. The teachers were equipped with the basic counselling skills to help their students in need of counselling and guidance. They also expressed that this seminar helped them to attend to their personal problems and difficulties, and also boosted their spiritual life.
