North Province had its IV Provincial Chapter from 3rd to 5th Jan 2010. The Theme of the Chapter was ‘Towards redefining our identity, charism and mission in the context of today.

North Province had its IV Provincial Chapter from 3rd to 5th Jan 2010. The Theme of the Chapter was ‘Towards redefining our identity, charism and mission in the context of today’.
In the election held on 4th of January Sr. Alice Pinto was elected Provincial Superior. Srs. Jacintha Crasta, Antonette, Apoline Pinto and Maria Jyothi D’Cunha were elected Provincial Councillors.
The Thrust of the Provincial Chapter was:
- To make a paradigm shift from religiosity to spirituality
- To give priority to spirituality in our institutions/communities and apostolate
- To be deeply aware of our call to be prophetic leaders to the nations and bear lasting
fruit through our mission
- To reformulate our vision, goals, policies and priorities in order to be more effective
in our mission in the present context of ever changing world.
- To proclaim the good news by becoming a living Word of God and accomplish this
mission of Jesus in the face of crisis and opposition.
