The decennial celebration of UFLA of Mysuru Province was held 09.10.2022 at St Joseph CBSE School, Hunsur. 19 unit’s UFLA members along with their animators and community members, approximately 300 in member were presents.

The decennial celebration of UFLA of Mysuru Province was held 09.10.2022 at St Joseph CBSE School, Hunsur. 19 unit’s UFLA members along with their animators and community members, approximately 300 in member were presents.
The days Programme began at 9.30a.m with the Thanks giving Eucharistic Celebration. Rev Fr Prem Kumar, Montfort officiated the Eucharist. During the Eucharistic celebration 18 UFLA members made their Permanent Affiliation.
After the Eucharistic celebration stage programme was held at 10.45a.m. Sr Doreen D Souza and Sr. Apoline Cordeiro honoured 14 UFLA members who completed 10 years as UFLA with shawl and mementos.
Sr Doreen D Souza , was honoured for initiating the UFLA. Sr Apoline Cordeiro also was honoured for initiating UFLA in the Province. 2 UFLA members of different units, shared their rich experiences of being the UFLA members. There after Sr Lydia Serrao, councilor General delivered a message to the gathering about the role of UFLA members in the parish, families and in the locality. Sr. Lilly Fernandes, the Provincial Superior appreciated all the animators and UFLA members for their whole hearted cooperation, support, good will and zeal in spreading the message of Christ through various good works. A short audio- visual presentation on the progress achieved within 10 years was highlighted. Rev Fr Edward William Saldanha was the resource person of the day, spoke about how to build the church. Each of us need to strive to grow in faith, love and hope. Each of our families need to radiate the face of Christ and recruit vocations from our families.
In the afternoon cultural activities of different units were held. The presence of Sr Lydia Serrao, the General councilor, Srs. Leena D Souza, Doreen D Souza, Lilly Pinto and Alice Serrao added extra colour for days programme.
