The resource person, Rev. Fr. Soosai Mani SJ, Provincial of the Delhi Province, led sessions on various topics including: “Core Competence of a Religious Superior,” “Servant Leadership,” “Leading from the Heart,” “Community Building,” “Fostering Belongingness,” “Mentorship and Formation,” “Walking Alongside,” “Practical Management,” “Keeping the House in Order,” “Navigating Challenges with Calm and Courage,” “Vision and Planning,” “Looking Ahead and Staying Rooted,” “Integrating Faith, Vision, and Service,” “The Importance of Community and Personal Prayer,” and “Leadership that Reflects Christ.”
Fr. Soosai Mani S.J also emphasized that to be an effective animator, one must make a concerted effort to deepen their spiritual growth, prioritize physical fitness among community members, and safeguard mental health.
The sessions were followed by prayer, group discussions, and sharing. Fr Soosai Mani S.J shared his personal experiences and provided practical guidelines on how to animate the community, making our consecrated life more joyful and meaningful.
The Power Point presentations from the sessions were shared with the Sisters, who will, in turn, present them to the members of their respective communities. Each community will then formulate concrete action plans based on these teachings.
