
The Ursuline Franciscan Congregation, Mangalore Province conducted a day camp for girls from 9th grade onwards on 27 September 2025 at Lourdes High School, Bejai. The camp was inaugurated by Sr. Juliana Pais, Vice Provincial, who delivered a meaningful inaugural talk.

Sr. Cecilia Crasta shared insights into the mission and vision of the Congregation, inspiring the young participants to explore their own potential. The highlight of the camp was the sharing of experiences by missionaries Sr Renita Mathias, Sr Joyce Lobo, Sr Veena Priya, and Sr Shalma, who spoke about their journeys in Germany, Italy, Africa, and America. Their stories of faith, service, and cultural exchange left a lasting impact on the young minds.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Sr. Leona Nisha Galbao, Province Vocation Promoter, who ensured a smooth and enriching experience for all participants. This initiative by the Ursuline Franciscan Congregation is a testament to their commitment to empowering young girls and nurturing their spiritual growth.
