Province Chapter: The VI Province Chapter was held from December 29 to January 1, 2013 with the theme Rooted in Christ, be a Rainbow, a Visible Sign of Peace, Reconciliation and Hope for the New World
Rev Sr Doreen D’Souza, the Superior General presided over the Chapter together with Sr Lily Fernandes, Coucilor General. During this grace filled event Sr Apoline Cordeiro has been elected as the Provincial Superior for the term of three years. Srs Annie M A Assistant Provincial, Sr Irene Pais, Sr Mary Mendonca and Sr Lilly Rodrigues as Councilors.
In the Chapter the delegates have formulated the following Vision – Mission statement to be implemented in our apostolate and life for the term of three years.
Vision: Rooted in Christ, WE, the UFS of Mysore Province pledge to become a Rainbow, a visible sign of Peace, Reconciliation and Hope through a deeper relationship with God, with each other and with all of creation so as to give life, life in fullness.
Mission Statement: As prophets of our time, we will strive to bring about Hope for a New World by revitalizing our Charism to promote, protect and preserve life this working for the total and integral development of humanity and the creation through our apostolic effectiveness solely for the love of God.
