The Golden and Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Religious Profession of Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of Mysore Province was joyfully held on 12th April at Maria Niketan, Bogadi. The occasion marked a significant milestone in the lives of our Sisters, celebrating years of faithful commitment, dedicated service and deep-rooted love for their vocation.
The Golden and Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Religious Profession of Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of Mysore Province was joyfully held on 12th April at Maria Niketan, Bogadi. The occasion marked a significant milestone in the lives of our Sisters, celebrating years of faithful commitment, dedicated service and deep-rooted love for their vocation.
The Eucharistic celebration was solemnly presided over by Rev Fr Baptist Rodrigues, OFM Cap, along with 19 concelebrating priests. The Golden Jubilarians were Sr Carmine Sequeira, Sr Josephine D’Souza, Sr Milly D’Souza, and Sr Vincencia Lopes, while the Silver Jubilarians included Sr Cynthia Wilma Rego, Sr Felcy D’Cunha, Sr Janitha Rodrigues, Sr Veena Vijaya Castelino and Sr Violet Pinto. They were warmly felicitated and appreciated for their generous and selfless service to the Church and society.
The celebration was graced by the presence of family members, priests and religious, who joined in thanksgiving and shared in the joy of the occasion. It was indeed a memorable and grace-filled celebration, inspiring all present to renew their commitment to serve with love and dedication.
