It was a great joy to welcome the new members to the Ursuline Franciscan Congregation specially to the African Region. Srs Getruda William, Maria William, Evelyn Tumusiime, Etropia Barnabas, Winifrida Andrew , Maria Gerald, Aseno Lucy, Pauline Taaka professed their vows on 5th December 2022. Sr Vinola Iniappanavar the Regional Superior of African Region delegated by the Superior General received their vows. Srs Lavina Rodrigues Asst Regional Superior and Consolatha Thaorora and Veena Mascarenhas the councilors, Sisters of the Region and formees, neighbouring Religious Sisters and Brothers, parents of the newly professed Sisters, parishioners and seven priests were present. Rev Fr Joseph Kairie SJ officiated Eucharistic Celebration. The Liturgy ended with the blessing of Saint Francis to Bro Leo by all the Sisters of Franciscan Order placing their hands on the newly Professed Sisters followed by the felicitation programme.
