The V Regional Chapter of the European Region held at Casa Franciscan Della Pieta, Campi Bisenzio in Italy from May 29 – June 1, 2013.
The theme rooted in Christ, Be a rainbow, a visible sign of peace, reconciliation and hope for the new world under the president ship of Sr Doreen D’Souza, Superior General. The 17 delegates and Sr Susheela Sequeira, a Superior General; were present for the Chapter.
Vision statement: Rooted in Christ, we the Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of European Region pledge to become a rainbow, a visible sign of peace, reconciliation and hope through a deeper relationship with God, with one another and with all of creation so as to give life, life in fullness.
Mission statement: As prophets of our time, we will strive to bring about hope for a new world by revitalizing our chariam to promote, protect and preserve life thus working for the total and integral healing of humanity and the conservation of creation through our apostolic effectiveness solely for the love of God.
On June 1, 2013 the President Sr Doreen D’Souza announced the appointment of the Regional Superior, two Regional Councillors and Coordinator for Italian Zone. They are:
Sr Roshni Monis: Regioanl Superior
Sr Monthi Mary Martis and Sr Juliet Molly Serrao: Regional Councillors
Sr Leena Kishori: Cordinator for Italian Zone.
