Sr Sunitha Catherine Vas : II Regional Councillor
Sr Nirmala Rodrigues : III Regional Councillor
Sr Vinola Iniappanavar : IV Regional Councillor
The theme taken was ‘Rooted in Christ, Be a Rainbow, A Visible Sign of Peace, Reconciliation and Hope for the New World Sr Doreen D’Souza, Superior General moderated the Chapter. There were 11 delegates and 2 observers and Sr Susheela, Assistant General was present for the Chapter.
Vision Statement: “Rooted in Christ, we the Ursuline Franciscan Sisters of African Region pledge to become a Rainbow, a visible sign of peace, reconciliation and hope through a deeper relationship with God, with each other and with all of creation so as to give live, life in fullness”.
Mission Statement: “As prophets of our time, we will strive to bring about hope for a new world by revitalizing our charism to promote, protect and preserve life thus working for the total and integral development of humanity and the creation through our apostolic effectiveness solely for the love of God”.
