From September 16th – 26th, 2026, the Juniorate Program at the Provincialate brought together 42 young religious women for a meaningful time of prayer, reflection, learning and renewal. It was a sacred pause from the busyness of life, inviting the Junior Sisters to slow down, listen deeply, and return to the heart of their vocation and mission.

From September 16th – 26th, 2026, the Juniorate Program at the Provincialate brought together 42 young religious women for a meaningful time of prayer, reflection, learning and renewal. It was a sacred pause from the busyness of life, inviting the Junior Sisters to slow down, listen deeply, and return to the heart of their vocation and mission. Guided by spiritual sessions, personal sharing, and fellowship, the juniors were invited to deepen their relationship with God and renew their commitment to consecrated life.
The programme began with a warm welcome talk by Rev. Sr Juliana Pereira, the Provincial Superior of NE on “Choice and Chance” encouraging the juniors to reflect on their choices and embrace the opportunity that shape their religious journey. Fr Roshan led and inspiring session on “Staying focused on my vocation at the age of distraction,” inviting the participants to remain rooted in Christ amid the many distractions of daily life and carry their prayers into their ordinary work.
The programme also included an “Accounts” class by Sr Reshma Vinolia, with practical group work and an informative session on “Women’s Health” by Sr Dr. Rosemary, highlighting the importance of holistic well- being and a journey of self- discovery.
Sr Sunitha Miranda, the Directress of Junior Sisters guided the juniors through an input session on “Inner strength and emotional maturity”, followed by group discussion and presentation, helping them grow in self-awareness and emotional understanding.
A special highlight was the “Retreat” guided by Sr Irene Pais, which invited the juniors to deepen their relationship with God, renew their commitment with consecrated life, and rediscover the beauty of their vocation. Group sharing and prayer services, beautifully led by the juniors, created moments of communion, mutual encouragement, and spirit enrichment. The community outing to Raben Picnic Resort, Dimapur, added joy, relaxation and Sisterly bonding to the programme.
The outing and recreation provided the Juniors with a refreshing break from their daily routine. It was a joyful time of relaxation, bonding and sharing together, creating beautiful memories and strengthening the spirit of togetherness.
The Juniorate was truly a grace filled journey of self-discovery and transformation. The juniors were reminded that caring for their body, mind and spirit is an essential part of living their vocation with faith and dedication. They returned renewed in spirit, refocused on their calling, and strengthened in their desire to carry Christ within them and make his love visible wherever they are sent.
