In line with the Universal Church’s Jubilee 2025 celebrations, the Mangalore Province held a Jubilee gathering for Vocation Promoters, Animators of UFLA and UFB, and Sisters engaged in various apostolates such as Teaching, Social, Health, Legal and Counseling at Shanthidham on October 5, 2025 with the theme - “Pilgrims of hope: guiding hearts and shaping lives”.
In line with the Universal Church’s Jubilee 2025 celebrations, the Mangalore Province held a Jubilee gathering for Vocation Promoters, Animators of UFLA and UFB, and Sisters engaged in various apostolates such as Teaching, Social, Health, Legal and Counseling at Shanthidham on October 5, 2025 with the theme - “Pilgrims of hope: guiding hearts and shaping lives”. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and an opening chorus by the Sisters of Assisi School.
Provincial Superior Sr Clara Menezes inaugurated the celebration and addressed the gathering. She thanked all the Sisters for their selfless service in assigned apostolates. Fr Francis Arun D’Souza OP, Principal and Provincial Councillor of OP, the resource person, delivered an inspiring session on the Jubilee theme, encouraging all to renew their missionary commitment. The event included fun games, which made everyone enjoyable and cheerful. The Jubilee Celebration was concluded with a solemn thanksgiving Eucharistic. Around 80 sisters were present for the gathering.
