Azadi 70- Yaad Karo Kurubani was observed in St Josephs Institute Hunsur at 11 AM on Tuesday, 23 August 2016 and the mass singing of the National Anthem was done in one Chorus.It provided an opportunity for the Students and the Staff to recall the supreme sacrifices made by freedom fighters during freedom struggle. Azadi 70- Yaad Karo Kurbani’ (70 years of independence: Do recall the sacrifices) is programme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 9 2016. The campaign was aimed at creating a sense of patriotism towards the nation.
