Sr Milly Fernandes attended the AFFI General Body Meeting of the Major Superiors from 23rd o 25th February at Jeevan Jyothi Hyderabad. The theme of the annual event was Faithful and Shrewd Stewards – The Challenges we face today and our response.
The AFFI Major Superiors after having listened to Fr Jacob Peenikaparambil SJ of Universal Solidarity Movement and Mr Sunil Gonsalves – Chartered Accountant have drawn up some action plan to be implemented. All Major Superiors felt that unless we wake up to the present situations and respond to them aptly in a proactive manner very soon we will be victims of fundamentalism that is already mushrooming in many parts of our country.
